Deadline day signing at Barrass Whiting LLP
As the transfer window slams shut, Barrass Whiting are delighted to announce the signing of specialist employment law solicitor, Nilu Love. The deal sheet was submitted in time and Nilu joins us from DAC Beachcroft, for an undisclosed fee.
Nilu trained at Rollits LLP, qualified as a solicitor in March 2019 and has specialised exclusively in employment law ever since. At Rollits and DAC Beachcroft Nilu advised employers about the whole range of employment issues, including Employment Tribunal proceedings. Nilu has advised small, medium and large employers across both the public and private sectors.
Nilu said “I’m delighted to have joined Barrass Whiting LLP. Nicola and Lee have bags of experience and a first-class reputation, and I can’t wait to get stuck in and help their clients. Like Lee and Nicola, rather than explaining to clients every detail of the law, I strive to provide practical, concise and commercial advice, based on a client’s objectives and appetite for risk.”
Nilu Love
As well as working alongside partners Lee and Nicola, Nilu joins a team which includes Senior Paralegal Nikki Kubler and Legal Assistant Gemma Todd.
Nilu obtained her degree from Hull University and lives in the East Riding, but she grew up in Liverpool and is an avid Liverpool FC fan. Commenting on this deadline day transfer, Liverpool FC Manager, Arne Slot said: “This is undoubtedly the best business of the transfer window. With the wrecking ball that is the Employment Rights Bill coming down the track, Nilu’s a safer pair of hands than Alisson Becker.”*
